How Rachakram Golf Club prevented the flood to golf course (200 acres)
สนามกอล์ฟราชครามเปิดให้บริการแล้ว (ประกาศ 15/11/2554)ต้องขอขอบคุณพนักงานและแคดดี้ ที่อยู่พร้อมผู้บริหารในการป้องกันน้ำเป็นเวลา 5 อาทิตย์ สนามกอล์ฟจึงยังคงสภาพ สวยงามและไม่ถูกน้ำท่วม นี่คือเรื่องราวการป้องกันน้ำท่วมของสนาม
Rachakram Golf Club has resume to normal business. (15/11/2011). Special thanks to our employees and group of caddies who stayed with our management team to protect our golf course for 5 weeks. Thus our course is still in a good condition. Below is the story of how we managed to prevent the flood to our 200 acres course.
จุดที่กันน้ำยากที่สุดที่หลุม 13 ต้องใชเแรงงานคนเนื่องจากแมคโครไม่สามารถเข้าได้ ทำเขื่อนเป็นชั้นและใช้ไม้พร้อมกระสอบทรายยัน น้ำมาแรงและซึมผ่านตามดิน ดูระดับน้ำภายใน(ซ้าย)และภายนอก(ขวา)
This area at hole 13 is the hardest area to protect. The Backhoe could not get it. All the dykes are created by human. The dyke was designed in step and using wood along with sandbag to stand the pressure. The flood pressure was strong and the dyke absorbed the flood and started to collapse. Right side is the level of the flood and left side is the golf course.

แรงน้ำจากภายนอกผลักลิ่มไม้เอน ทำเขื่อนเป็นชั้นโดยใช้ถุงทรายดังเขื่อนดินไม่ไห้ล่ม
Water pressure from outside pushed all the wood peg slide off toward the course. Sandbags have been used to make sure the soil dyke will not slide off.
ยอมเจาะให้น้ำผ่านเพื่อให้เขื่อนดินไม่ยุ่ย โดยต้องหาตาน้ำให้เจอ แล้วดูดน้ำออก
Pipes has been put through part of the dyke by finding the water springs and allow the water to pass through. Otherwise water will disintegrate the dyke. Then using the pumping to pump water back out.

ทำเขื่อนเป็นขั้นบันได โดยขุดเอาดินในสนามบางช่วงในนาทีสุดท้าย ตอนแรกทำเขื่อนปรกติ แต่แรงน้ำเยอะมากเลยต้องเสริมฐานเขื่อน
Creating the dyke in level by using part of the soil in the golf course at last minutes. At first the dyke was one level but the water pressure was too strong and have to reenforce by adding the base of the dyke
โรงแคดดี้นอกเขื่อนเนื่องจากไม่มีพื้นที่ทำเขื่อนไดและจำเป็นต้องปล่อยให้จมและการกันน้ำโดยใช้ไม้ค้ำ
Cafeteria outside the dyke as there is not enough space to create the dyke behind. Some part of the dyke have to be reinforced by using wood pegs. 
จุดนี้เขื่อนแตกเลยต้องทำเขื่อนอีกชั้น ด้นหูกระจงเลยจมน้ำ จมมาเป็นเดือนแต่ยังเขียวอยู่
Flood passed through the dyke in this area so second dyke has been created. Golf Course trees have been under the water for a month but they are still green.
